Shawano USB Wristbands for sale!
Shawano Small Business Development Students |
Shawano Community High School
Small Business Development Class of 2011
Junior Achievement Small Business Development class sells USB wristbands.
The Junior Achievement Small Business Development class at Shawano Community High School is selling USB wristbands. A percentage of the wristbands sales will be donated to Dollars for Scholars. Our class surveyed the community to determine the needs and wants. We have had the privilege of working with local business people who assisted in developing product ideas, surveying target markets, working out a break-even analysis and creating a marketing plan.
The USB wristbands our class is offering are unique. The wristbands come in black and have a bold white lettering on the front center reading “Shawano”. A unique feature of these wrist bands is the USB drive. It is the latching component of the wristband and it is hidden when worn. This USB drive has a 2GB memory which provides plenty of storage for students and is ideal storage for traveling business persons.
The Small Business Development class will be selling the USB wristbands throughout the Shawano Community. USB wristbands will be sold before school, during lunch and after school in the Hawk’s Nest, located in the High School commons. Students from the Small Business Development class will also be selling wristbands after school at Hillcrest, Olga Brener and the Middle school on select days. They will also be available by contacting Sara Oberhart, Business teacher, at Shawano Community High School. There will be posters advertising the NEW USB wristband throughout the high school. There is also a surprise if you buy the winning USB wristband! One wristband will have a golden ticket on it! If you buy the winning wristband, you will receive a red fleece blanket with the Shawano Hawks emblem.
